The route requested in your letter is judged to neet the requiatory require-nents in accordance with 10 CFR 73.37 for shiplents of speut fuel under 11 port license IS't'-1651 and is approved through necm5er 31, IM.
Arrangenents with law enforcemnt agencies along the route as required by 10 CFR 73.37(a)(2) have been crr,pleted by the !NC staf f, pata relating to these arrangments and a copy of the approve.1 route are enclosed.
This infonnation is to be incorporated into your ship,ont plans and provio.0 to your carrier along with instructions regarding its use.
Please note that assuring h19hway safety is the responsibility of the licensee and carrier and our approval is not intendet to provide relief in this regard.
During seasonal periods when inclev+nt mather with accompanyinq huardous roa t conditions can occur with short notice, tho appropriate state police should be contacted with reqard to road conditions bef ore a ship,nnt cuences.
Please note that the notification requirments of 10 CfR 71.37(f) and 13.72 for aach shipwnt still apply. ynen nakinq a notification to a governor or his designee, it should be very specific ospecially with re9.ird to notifica-tion of series shipionts. Written notification nust designato euctly how nany individual shipwnts are to be included, in the event tM neriber of shipwnts in a series is revised, the chanqe notification should inlicato that it is a revision of the original notification and an increase or decrease in the nun 5or of shipwnts, in addition, the chango notification should spec-ify that tho infor~iation for any of the shipwnts in the revised series may not be decontrolled until ten days af ter the arrival at the destination of tM last shiplent in that serias.
