50-328 By the April 5, 1985 letter from T. M. Novak to H. C. Parris, we received the Safety Evaluation Report (SER) for the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Inservice Testing Program for Pumps and Valves. Subsequent to telephone discussions with members of your staff, a meeting was held on July 2,1985 at NRC's offices to discuss our comments regarding the SER and to resolve concerns discussed in the previous telephone conversations. As a result of the meeting, we agreed to provide additional information and where applicable, revised pages to the IST Program previously submitted. Also. NRC agreed to revise the SER based on our forthcoming submittal, presently scheduled for August 1985. Additionally, because of the revisions to the SER, NRC indicated that delaying complete implementation of the revised IST program, until the startup from the next refueling outage for each unit, would be acceptable.
