Dear Sirs:
Our NRC License No. SNM-666 expires on September 30, 1985.
We would like to renew it.
We need this license to keep our neutron source, which is a sealed Pu-Be mixture with 32 grams of plutonium.
Everything regarding our operation af it remains the same.
It resides inside an approved water moderator and is used for various experiments in chemistry and physics classes.
I gave the source a wipe test today and no alpha radiation was found.
Enclosed is a check for $150, the renewal fee quoted in 10 CFR, Part 170,.page 3.
