This letter and attachment are provided in response to the Notice of Violation transmitted with NRC Inspection Report 96008.
This letter contains the following new commitments:
Prior to next refuel outage at the Duane Arnold Energy Center, a list of craft-specific vital area access needs will be developed. This list will be provided to site supervisors to r.id in their determination of appropriate vital area access for temporary workers.
Each member of the Security Force will participate in at least three search drills (vehicle, personnel or package) per year.
The Attachment to this letter contains information of the type described in 10 CFR 73.21, therefore, it should be withheld Pom public disclosure.
