Dear Dr. Murley:

The purpose of this letter is to request approval to hold one, instead of two, Emergency Medical Assistance Drills.

The annual drill is scheduled for November 6, 1985, and will l

involve.the site fire brigade and various offsite medical facilities and personnel.

This drill will meet the established criteria for medical response for both the Salem and Hope Creek Emergency Plans.

Further drills would involve the same teams of onsite and offsite personnel and would be meeting redundant requirements which will soon be deleted when the two plans are combined.

If this proposal is acceptable to your staff, I would appreciate your concurrence.

Sincerely, i

f l
