Waterford 3 SES Docket No. 50-382 License No. NPF-38 Revised Technical Specification Change Request NPF-38-172 Gentlemen:
By letter dated November 7,1995 and supplemented by letter dated July 17,1996, Waterford 3 proposed a change to Technical Specification (TS) 3/4.8.1 " Electrical Power Systems - AC Sources" and the associated TS BASES. Additionally, a Basis change was submitted in Letter W3F1-95-0116, dated July 26,1995.
During telephone conversations with the Staff on October 7 and December 4,1996, the following changes were discussed (Note that these latest changes are double barred in the attachment):
- 1) Delete "(6011.2 Hz)" from TS 4.8.1.1.2.a.4 and reword for clarity.
- 2) Add verbiage to the Basis of TS 3/4.8.1,3/4.8.2, and 3/4.8.3 to provide clirification of the 10 second time requirement of TS 4.8.1.1.2.a.4 and add tr,onitoring and trending of time to reach steady state voltage and frequency.
The enclosed changes supplement the previous submittals listed above. Only the pages affected by this latest revision are included. Please replace the affected pages with the attached. This submittal provides editorial changes relating to the subject proposed change. This additionalinformation has no affect on the previously provided no significant hazards determination.
