On November 21, 1996 representatives of the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) met with representatives of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) at the NRC's offices in Rockville, Maryland. Attachment 1 provides a list of meeting attendees.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss insurance issues and other Price-Anderson related issues.
The meeting covered the progress that NEI is making with the insurance pools in consolidating certain liability issues as well as issues that will be discussed in the next Price-Anderson report to Congress.
