(1) add to the statement of work, (2) increase the Task Order ceiling, and (3) extend the period of performance.
Therefore, the following changes are hereby incorporated:

Section 2.0, Work Required, the following paragraphs are added.
The effort required shall be performed in accordance with the Contractor's proposal dated June 21, 1985, which is incorporated herein by reference.

Contract No. NRC-02-83-035 Modification No. 28 Page 2 of 2 and material / energy balance closure, and the interface between FIRAC and FIRIN affecting mass balance discontinuity.
In order to conclude the determination of code suitability efficiently, the contractor shall visit the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) for a period of about one week.
Following the visit to LANL, the contractor shall adjust the SAIC version of the improved FIRAC code to conform with the LANL version. The contractor shall mark up the copy of the FIRAC User's Manual to conform to the LANL-SAIC version of the improved FIRAC code with other additional notes to improve the use of the manual.
A second copy of the marked up FIRAC manual shall be provided for DOE use at West Valley.
In addition, the contractor shall prepare a report sunnarizing the results of the work with the improved FIRAC code. The report shall indicate the limits and applicability of the FIRAC code for analyzing the radiological impacts of fires in fuel cycle facilities.
This work shall be completed prior to the above visit to West Valley and prior to the work associated with that visit."

Section 6.0, Performance Period, the pei ;od of performance is extended from June 30, 1985 to September 30, 1985.

Section 8.0, Cost Ceiling, the cost ceiling of Task Order 009 is increased by
$16,951, from $30,023 to $46,974 of which $43,095 represents estimated costs and of which $3,879 represents fixed fee.
4.
Contract Article V - CONSIDERATION AND PAYMENT, Paragraph A, Estimated Cost, Fixed Fee and Obligation, paragraph F, delete the figure "$893,007.00" and insert
"$909,958.00."
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
