Letter, 4410-85-L-0107, F. Standerfer to B. Snyder, dated May 15, 1035 In the referenced letter, you submitted additional information regarding the rencval of the equipment hatch airlock. We have reviewed this infomation, including the original Safety Evaluation Report of January 18, 1985, and have completed our safety evaluation. We understand that at this time, you do not plan to remove the equipment airlock for staging defueling equipment into the reactor building.
If our understanding is in error or if your plans change on this subject, notify my staff so we can complete our action on this request.
