LETTER DATED NOVEMBER 27,1996, CONCERNING REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE NR-497-D-101-S ISSUED TO NUCLETRON CORPORATION
Dear Mr. Trump:
Please accept this letter as written consent for your department to reissue the subject registration certificate as MD-497-D-101-S. Once your department has issued registration certificate MD-497-D-101-S, we will remove registration certificate NR-497-D-101-S from the national registry of saaled sources and devices.
The subject registration was issued by NRC since the original application was submitted by the foreign manufacturer of the device. The foreign manufacturer was in the process of negotiating with a distributor that was located in NRC jurisdiction. However, prior to final approval of the registration, the application decided that Nucletron Corporation in Maryland would be the distributor of the device and would be responsible for the registration. As a result of telephone conversation with members of your department, it was decided that NRC would complete and issue the registration since NRC had completed its evaluation.
