A reactor trip occurred due to low-low steam generator level following a trip of the IB steam generator feed pump (SGFP). The SGFP tripped when a tech-i nician accidently bumped a cable and broke a connection on a wire leading to the SGFP thrust bearing wear protection unit.

The broken wire caused the pro-tection unit to' indicate excessive thrust bearing wear.

The wire has been j

repaired. The technician has been counseled.
