Dear Mr. Hanner:
This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. J. Petrosino of this office on April 29, 1985, of your facility at Mount Vernon, Illinois and to the discussions of our findings with yourself and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The purpose of this inspection was to verify specific correspondence between Nutherm International and its customers regarding Elma Engineering ferroresonant power supplies. Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the enclosed report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of an examination of records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
