SUBJECT:
Integrated Living Schedule Between PSC and NRC
REFERENCE:
Dear Mr. Johnson:
This letter responds to Generic Letter 85-07 regarding the implementation of integrated living schedules for plant l
modifications.
We are developing as part of the Perform nce Enhancement Program, planning and scheduling procedures for internal use by PSC management.
These procedures would be used to prioritize and schedule plant modifications and other nuclear activities.
A Master Planning and Scheduling (MP S) function will be established to prioritize and monitor key nuclear activities.
Planning and scheduling functions will be established to handle divisional activities and interfaces with MP & S.
The short and long range schedule for plant activities will be
-developed and maintained by the Nuclear Production Division.
The schedule will show planned surveillance and refueling outages and the plant modifications and major maintenance items scheduled in the various windows.
Items scheduled will include, among other items, mandated changes, and plant-initiated modifications.

Our implementation of the above mentioned planning and scheduling h0 functions is just beginning.
If you wish to discuss the integrated g g i
