We have reviewed the Radiological and Engineering Assessments (REAs)~ dated March 27 and April 25, 1985 for the vicinity properties in Salt Lake City, Utah at 48 Gregson Avenue (SL-092), 42 East 3300 South Street (SL-020/SL-320),
and 3275 South 900 West Street (SL 206). We concur with the remedial actions recomended in these REAs. This concurrence is based on the following conditions:
1.
We have concurred in the current version of the VPMI 2.
The recommended action in each REA involves less than 10,000 cubic yards of contaminated material and is intended to meet the primary EPA standards; and 3.
The removed contamination will be placed in the Vitro site tailings in South Salt Lake.
Final disposal will be with the Vitro site tailings at the Clive disposal site.
Please notify us immediately of any action or decision which may affect any of these conditions.
