Subject:
Communication System Test On Monday July 15, 1985 at 9:00 AM, Monroe County tested its communication equipment from the Monroe County Emergency Operations Center.
The ourpose of the test was to verify that critical communications equipment was functioning oronerly.
The test included a check of pagers, monitors, oortable radios, emergency teleohones, siren encoder, radio consoles and access to Monroe Cablevision.
Pagers and monitors required a call-back to acknowledge message receipt.
Radios and telephones required two-way communication to verify that the equioment functioned.
Siren rotation was visually verified.
Hot line access to Monroe Cablevision was made.
Documentation from the county regarding this drill is attached herewith.
