On December 12, 1984, Duquesne Light Company (DLC) met in Bethesda, MD, with the Materials and Testing Engineering Branch to discuss the PSI Pro-gram, which was submitted June 29, 1984 (Reference 1).
The NRC recently issued a meeting summary and comments on the progras (Reference 2).
On January 31, 1985, DLC submitted an alternative plan for the preservice exami-nation of ASME Class 2 piping welds (Reference 3).
On May 20, 1985, the NRC approved the methodology of the plan for ASME Class 2 welds (Reference 4).
On January 17, 1985, DLC met in Bethesda, MD, with the Mechanical Engineering Branch to discuss the criteria for pressure isolation valve leak testing (References 5 and 6).
The staff has recently issued the final draf t of the Safety Evalua-tion Report (Reference 7).
Open Issue 6 is on the submittal of the PSL and ISI Progemos.
Open Issues 2 and 3 are the preservice and inservice testing of pumps and valves.
FSAR ques t ions 210.40, 210.41, and 250.1 reques ted information on those programs earlier.
The purpose of this letter is to provide a submittat date for the completed PSI program document and for the preliminary ISL progran document, as weLL.
The completed PSL progems document is scheduled for December 31, 1985.
The preliminary ISI progran document is scheduled for June 30, 1986.
The scheduled dates are select ed to support the BVPS-2. fuel load date of April 30,1987.
