DOCKETS 50-266 AND 50-301 CORRECTION TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS PAGES FOR CHANGE REOUEST 173 POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT. UNITS I AND 2 The corrected pages for Technical Specifications Changes Request (TSCR) 173 are prosided as an attachment to this letter. These corrections were necessary to update the table of contents and to ensure paragraph 15.6.2.2.b appears on page 15.6.2-2. These changes wcre overlooked in our previous transmittal of pages (VPNPD-96-102, dated December 2, 1996).
TSCR 173 was submitted in a letter dated April 29,1996. This TSCR proposes removal of Sections 15.3.14 and 15.4.15,
" Fire Protection System," from the Technical Specifications and relocation !a the Fire Protection Evaluation Report. This TSCR also proposes revision to Specifications 15.6.2.2.f,15.6.4.2, and 15.6.9.2.F concerning fire brigade stafring, training requirements, and special reporting requirements.
The modified pages are being provided to assist in the issuance of these amendments to the PBNP Technical Specifications.
We request a 90-day period from the time of amendment approval to prepare for implementation of the changes. If you require additional information, please contact us.
