We have become aware of work conducted at Broolhaven National Laboratory (BNL) in 1982 under ONWI subcontract E511 01000 which should lead to more accurate prediction of sodium chloride and chlorine gas formation under expected repository dose rates. This work resulted in a draft report (reference 1).
Our initial efforts to identify this report using the ONWI Catalog and searches initiated by R. WU (SRP0) indicate that while Teutonico's study has been terminated, there is no target date (or perhaps even provision for) final publication of his work.
Due to our interest in this work we would like to know of the plans to publish the results. Also, we would like to receive a copy of the draft report as soon as possible.
If there are other BNL reports on this subject which have not been released and which are not yet in the ONWI Catalog, we would like to have these identified together with a publication date.
