Dear Mr. Carlsen:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the individual examination results for your applicants on the initial i examination conducted on September 30, 1996 - October 3, 1996, by 1 my staff at your facility. Five senior reactor operator candidates were administered the examination, and five passed the examination. This meets the intent of section E.1 of the Examiner Standards (ES 501) in NUREG 1021. This information is considered to be " proprietary" in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 and it supplements the information contained in the related examination report for your facility which will be issued shortly.

Enclosure 1 is the completed ES-501-2, Power Plant Licensing Examination Results Summary, and is a summary of overall examination results. i i

Enclosure 2 contains the individual results ES-303-1 and 303-2, 4 Operator License Examination Report, (NRC Form 157) for each applicant. Contained therein are the deficiencies noted for each applicant. In accordance with your Systems Approach to Training (SAT) Program, we expect that you will review these results and {

provide appropriate remedial training for these individuals independent of their overall pass status. Each applicant has

, authorized the release of this information to your facility by signing Block 19A of NRC Form 398.

Enclosure 3 are copies of the licenses issued.
