Dear Mr. Weber:
j Pursuant to activities authorized by NRC materials license SNM-1097, GE's Nuclear Energy Production facility (NEP) in Wilmington, N. C. hereby submits a revision to our Decommissioning Plan.
The major changes in this plan are the addition of information relating to our new Dry Conversion

r Process (DCP) and an update to the financial data to include activities for decommissioning the DCP.
The Decommissioning Plan is being submitted in its entirety. All pages are dated 12/18/96, and are identified as Revision 1. Changes made in this revision are identified with a vertical bar ( l ) in the right hand margin.
