f, 4w,.s The purpose of this mo'dification is to revise the Statement of Work to include task "d", which involves independent inspection, witness of tests and modifications and audits in connection with the above-numbered contract.
Accordingly, the Commission accepts Teledyne Engineering Services' technical and cost proposal dated, September 17, 1985, which is incorporated into this contract by this reference to perform the efforts as described therein.
Therefore, the above-numbered contract is modified as follows:

Prior to initiation of task d, the contractor shall provide to the NRC Project Officer a plan for it, including details on sample sizes, and methodology of review'or audit.
Upon approval of each plan by the by the Project Officer, work will coninence.
A monthly report shall be provided to the NRC Project Officer which suninarizes major efforts and significant findings associated with task d.
Upon completion of task d, a Technical Evaluation Report will be provided to the Project Officer which sununarizes the technical effort and all findings.
The Technical Evaluation Report shall be delivered on or prior to December 31, 1985.

Section F.3., entitiled, Duration of Contract Period, is deleted in its e.tirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:
" F.3. Duration of Contract Period This contract shall become effective on June 10, 1985 and shall continue to completion thereof, on December 31, 1985."

It is anticipated that present funding will enable the contractor to perform through November 15, 1985. The remaining funds will be obligated subject to the availability of FY '86 funds."
All other terms and conditions set forth under this contract remain unchanged.
