50-328 By the July 1, 1985 letter from T. M. Novak to H. G. Parris, NRC requested verification of TVA's participation in the Westinghouse Owners' Group (WOG) and verification that the new Westinghouse small break loss of coolant accident (LOCA) model, NOTRUMP, is to-be used in the small break LOCA analysis for units 1 and 2 at our Sequoyah Nuclear Plant.

Enclosed is our response to NUREG-0737 item II.K.3.30 which we consider complete. Also, we plan to provide the generic analysis for NUREG-0737 item II.K.3.31 on or before June 2, 1986.

e ENCLOSURE SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PIANT RESPONSE TO NRC LETTER DATED JULY 1, 1985 ~

NUREG-0737, ITEMS II.K.3.30 AND II.K.3.31 Sequoyah Nuclear Plant is a member of the Westinghouse Owners' Group (WOG) which references NOTRUMP as their licensing small break LOCA model. As such, this completes IMI Action Item II.K.3.30.

I In accordance with 1MI Action Item II.K.3.31, a generic analysis (as allowed in Generic Letter No. 83-35) will be submitted within one year of receipt of the subject NRC letter. The current WOG schedule for this' analysis is to begin studies on June 3,1985, with submittal of WOG generic studies WCAP report by May 21, 1986.

In addition, future plant specific analyses performed for Sequoyah by
