Based on your September 30, 1996, fascimile submittal and subsequent telephone
. conversation on November 20, 1996, with Brenda DuBose of my staff,-your organization is requesting payment of costs billed in the amount of $300.00

for closecut fees.
It is brought to your attention that the NRC does not pay costs billed for closeout fees and therefore, costs billed in the amount of
$300.00 is' disallowed.
l As' a result of the above, a unilateral decision has been made by the Contracting Officer to.deobligate excess funds under the subject task order.

Therefore, Modification No. 2 to Task Order No. 7 dated June 19, 1996, which l
expired on September 15, 1993, is hereby rescinded.

Based on our records there are excess funds remaining under the subject task order.
Pending completion of all required closeout requirements, it is i
necessary to deobligate excess funds remaining under the task order for other immediate agency requirements. As a result,-funds in the amount $1,551.95 are hereby deobligated from the subject task order.
