Dear Mr. Buckles:
This is in response to your letter dated August 9, 1985, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), data concerning declarations of unusual events and alerts at nuclear power plants in 1984.
During an August 22, 1985, telephone conversation between you and Ray Priebe, Wilda Mullinix and Linda Robinson of NRC staff, an agreement was reached on the scope of your request, which covers computer printouts describing unusual events from August 1982 to February 1985 and alerts during 1984. You also agreed to pay for the computer search time necessary to produce the printout covering alerts in 1984. The two printouts (listed on the enclosed appendix) are being placed in the NRC Public Document Room located at 1717 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20555, in file folder F01A-85-576 under your name.
The computer search charge for producing the printout covering alerts is
$52.72. You will be billed by the NRC's Division of Accounting and Finance for that amount.
