This final report is in reference to the pot ent ially reportable Significant Deficiency relating to the wiring workmanship on the Gould 480 V Motor Control Centers (MCCs). This item has been reviewed by the BV-2 Senior NRC Resident Inspector.
The results of this review have been documented in I
NRC Inspection Report 85-04, dated April 23, 1985, which formally closes the item. The basis for closure is detailed in the inspection report, but can be summarized as follows. The corrective actions to remedy the deficiency have been formalized by inspection plan (I.P.)

Interal Wiring" and by Appendix N to engineering spec. 2BVS-931, " Workmanship Program for Vendor, Internal, Class IE Low Voltage, Instrumentation and Control Wiring, Inspection, Acceptance, and Repair / Rework Control."
The program is about 82 percent complete, with scheduled completion set for the end of June. Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR50.55(e), it is anticipated that this will be the final report on this matter.
