By your application dated June 12, 1985, and affidavit dated June 13, 1985, you submitted copies of Part II, " License Amendment Application, Dry Conversion Process, Proprietary Supplement," dated June 1985 and requested that they be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790.
Your reasons for requesting withholding of this information were that the information is owned and held in confidence by Exxon Nuclear Company and is a type customarily not disclosed to the public.
We have reviewed your application and the material based on the requirements and criteria of 10 CFR 2.790 and have determined that the above-mentioned document sought to be withheld contains trade secrets or confidential or pro-prietary commercial information.
Therefore, the version of the submitted information marked as proprietary will be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(b)(5) and Section 103(b) of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
Withholding from public inspection shall not affect the right, if any, of persons properly and directly concerned to inspect the documents.
If the need arises, we may send copies of th's information to our consultants working in this area. We will, of course, assure that the consultants have signed the appropriate agreement for handling proprietary data.
