This is in response to your letter dated March 29, 1985 (your reference

1. 696-7036), in which you submitted a revision to your Category I Physical Protection Plan, pursuant to 10 CFR 70.32, and in accordance with our previous request.

We have reviewed the submitted revised pages to the above mentioned Plan, and have determined that your' revised commitments are in accordance with our dis-cussions of November 1-2, 1984, and are consistent with the basic commitment containedinyourNovember5,1984 letter (696-6070). We have further deter-mined that your Plan revisions will not adversely affect the common defense and security nor the public health and safety, and are otherwise in the public interest. Accordingly, we are revising License Condition 9.1.A of the Safeguards Amendment SG-1 to your License No. SNM-696, so as to incorporate your Plan revisions. We are also revising License Condition 2.1 of Amendment SG-1 to incorporate your Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan revisions which you submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 70.32(c) on August 17, 1984 and December 21, 1984 (reference #s 696-6046 and 696-6090), and which were approved by Region V on January 9, 1985.

Conditions 2.1 and 9.1.A, which are effective immediately, read as follows: -

2.1 The licensee shall follow Revision A of his Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan, dated October 1982; as revised by sub-mittals dated February 3, 1984 (pages 4-2 and 4-3), August 17, 1984 (pages 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-6, 1-7, 2-4, 3-6, 3-7, 3-8a through 3-8f, 4-1, 4-4, 4-6b, 4-7, 4-17, 4-18, 4-19a, 4 20, 5-1, 5-3, 5-4, 6-1, 6-2, 6-3, 7-3, 8-2, 8-3, and 8-4), December 21, 1984 (pages 1-8, 3-8, 4-4a, 4-5, 4-19, and 5-2, all dated August 1984), and January 25, 1985 (pages 7-6 through 7-20, all dated February 1985); and as may be revised in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 70.32(c).

-2 9.1.A The licensee shall follow Revision B of the security plan titled, "GA Technologies, Inc. Category I Fixed Site Facility Physical Protection Plan," dated November 1982; as revised by submittals dated September 29, 1983 and March 29, 1985; and as may be revised pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 70.32(e).

We have determined that the enclosure to your March 29, 1985 letter contains

" Safeguards Information" which is required to be protected against unauthorized disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
