ViSTINGHOUSE AP REACTOR VESSEL LEVEL INSTRUMENTATION Based on my informtion to date, there are eighteen Westinghouse-designed plants which have comitted to install the Westinghouse AP reactor vessel level in-I strument; however, only three have submitted the Westinghouse summary report.

All of the other licensees indicated that they would submit the Westinghause report describing their proposed system later. Westinchouse has made a generic sut'ctittal of the coport entitled " Summary Report, West.aghouse Reactor Vessel Level Instrumentation System for Ho:.itoring Inadequete Core Cooling (7300 l

System), (UHI Plant), and (Microprocessor System)" in December,1980 for staff review.
