ROOM, D.C. OFFICE (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE) i The Commission met to discuss the draft " Proposed Amendments to 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E; Consideration of Earthquakes in Emergency Planning" (SECY-85-283).

Mr. Richard Krimm of the Federal Emergency Management Agency j
was present and responded to several questions from the Commission.
l The Commission requested the Office of the General Counsel to i
determine whether the public was given access to and opportunity j
to comment on the proposed rule package and to advise the j
Commission whether it will be necessary to resubmit the i
proposed rule for comment.
