extension of time of one (1) week, until October 7,1985, in which to file their briefs on appeal from the Partial Initial Decision on emergency planning of April 17, 1985.
In support of this request, the state and county state as follows:

The undersigned is the only attorney who is assigned to and is preparing the state's brief in support of the appeal.
As previously explained to this Board, the undersigned did not participate in most of the hearings i:

In addition to the considerable task of familiarising i
himself with extensive portions of the record, the proposed

finding of fact, the preparation of the brief is complicated by the circumstance that the undersigned must address in l!
excess of 300 pages of that opinion in a 70 page brief.
