Hayes informed Mr. W. H. Rankin of the USNRC Region II of a. potentially reportable condition concerning thel Westinghouse Flux Mapping System.
This generic condition was also reported by the USNRC in Information Notice 85-45 dated June 6, 1985.
At this time, Georgia Power Company has been advised by Bechtel Power Corporation and Westinghouse that an evaluation of this condition for the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant will be completed in January, 1986.
Georgia Power Company will inform the NRC of the results of this evaluation on or before January 31, 1986.
