SUPPLEMENTAL SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT (SSER) FCR THE ARKANSAS NUCLEAR ONE, UNIT 2 PLANT RE: ENGINE! RED SAFETY FEATURES RESET CONTROLS (I&E BULLETIN 80-06)
Arkansas Power and Light Company's re-evaluation of th'.it response to I&E Bulletin 80-06 for ANO-2, (letter dated April 16, 1982 and corrected by letter dated June 16,1982) has been reviewed. The review is contained in the enclosed Supplemental Safety Evaluation Report (SSER) which con-cludes that AP&L has satisfied the requirenents and concerns of I&E Bulletin 8')-06, subject to completion of connitments to perform the modifications and testing identified in the April 16, 1982 response letter.
Our previous SER on this matter, dated June ;, 1981, concluded that the licensee complied with IEB 80-06. However subsequent I&E inspection found that certain licensee activities were not conducted in full compli-ance with NRC requirements and other activities appeared to deviate from written comnitments to the Coanission. Refer to Region IV letters to AP&L dated April 9 and April 16, 1982 for details.
