ENCLOSURE 2 NOTICE OF DEVIATION Tennessee Valley Authority Docket Nos. 50-327, 50-328 Sequoyah License Nos. DPR-77, DPR-79 The following deviation was identified during an inspection conducted on October 23 - 26, 1984.
FSAR Section 6.2.4.2.2 states that the safeguard position of automatic containment isolation valves is indicated by status lights in the main control room.
Contrary to the above, the containment isolation valves for the fire protection piping, which penetrates the containment are not provided with status lights in the control room.
Please provide, in writing within 30 days of the date of this Notice, a descrip-tion of corrective actions regarding this deviation, actions taken to avoid further deviations, and the dates when these actions were or will be completed.
Security or safeguards information should be submitted as an enclosure to facilitate withholding it from public disclosure as required by 10 CFR 2.790(d) or 10 CFR 73.21.
