3-The leader of a special Nuclear Regulatory Commission inspection team which has been looking into circumstances associated with an apparent radiation overexposure of an employee at a Bristol. Virginia company will discuss his

group's areliminary findings with company officials Friday at 3:00 P.M.

A special NRC Augmented Inspection Team (AIT) arrived in Bristol on November 13 after Professional Service Industries. Inc. , notified the agency on November 6 that a technician who used a radioactive device to measure the density of soil at a number of temporary job sites over the past several months had )

reported a concern that reddening and biisters on the hand may have.resulted from-radiation exposure.

! NRC inspectors have been interviewing company management and the employee l and have participated in conducting a reenactment of how the device was used.
