Enclosed is export license application XSOU8842/01, dated March 12, 2020. Export license XSOU8842 authorizes the export of 41,392 kilograms (kg) of natural uranium and 271,829 kg of natural thorium for non-nuclear end uses in China.
The purpose of the amendment is to change the company name to The Chemours Company FC, LLC. (Chemours); remove two transportation Intermediate Consignees (Industrial Mineral &
Metals and Fujian Huamoa Import & Export Co., Ltd); and remove two Ultimate Consignees (Yongzhou Xiang River Rare Earth Co., Ltd, and Wesheng Advanced Materials (Hong Kong)
Company Limited).
The NRC is processing export license XSOU8842/01, as a minor amendment. If no dissenting public comments are received, and applicable legal requirements are satisfied, the NRC will issue the amended license, after the 30-day comment period.
