Dear Mr. Prendergast:
This letter is in reference to my letter dated February 21,1996, (copy enclosed) and our meeting at your facility on July 6,1995. The subject of my letter was the registration certificates listed in the table in Enclosure 1 of the February 21,1996, letter (column 1 of the table includes the registration certificate number and column 2 includes the model numbers of the products). Specifically, my letter requested that LFE resubmit complete applications for each product listed in the enclosure.
To date, we have not received the submissions. Therefore, we request that you provide the status of the submissions, including a date when we are likely to receive the submissions.
As previously discussed, we have no objection to LFE submitting each application under separate cover and, as part of the submissions, LFE may request that certain registration certificates be combined.

This letter 's in reference to your letter dated August 6. 199]. which Indicated that LFE Industrial Systems Corporation plans to continue to distribute the products listed in the table in Enclosure 1 (column 1 of the table includes the registration certificate number and column 2 includes the model numbers of the products).
As discussed with you during our meeting at
'l your facility on July 6,1995, we are in the process of updating the registration certificates for the products listed in the table.
Updating the registration certificates i-ncludes reviewing the informatior, submitted to support the evaluation of the products.
In performing the review of the registrations, and the supporting documentation, it was found that the background files are, in most cases, incomplete and/or cr 2ain outdated information.
Therefore, to support the registration of th9 t-sdotts, LFE needs to resubmit complete applications for each product listed in Enclosurt 1.
The applications should be submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 32.210, Regulatory Guide 10.10 " Guide for the Preparation of Applications foi Radiation Safety Evaluation and Registration cf Devices Containing Byproduct Material," and Regulatory Guide 10.11 " Guide for the Preparation of Applications for Radiation Safety Evaluation and Registration of Sealed Sources Containing Byproduct Material."
