Quadripartite Meeting in 1997. The Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) agrees that such a meeting should be held in Japan in the fall of 1997.

The ACRS proposes the following items for discussion at the 1997  :

meeting: '

  • Risk-informed regulation, e Fire modeling, o Individual Plant Examination process, )

e Steam explosions. l

As Japan is the host country, we suggest that you propose the dates and a draft agenda for this meeting as soon as possible.

Please let us know if we can be of assistance in this effort.

I have asked the Technical Secretary of the ACRS, Ms. Roxanne Summers, to be the point of contact for the purpose of planning this meeting. She can be reached by telephone at 301-415-7371 or by fax at 301-415-5589. We look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
