Box 756 Port Gibson, Mississippi 39150 SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-416/96-16 Dear Mr. Hutchinson: An NRC inspection was conducted September 23-26 and October 1-4,1996, at your Grand Gulf Nuclear Station reactor facility. The enclosed report presents the scope and results of that inspection. The Grand Gulf access authorization program was examined during the inspection. Inspection activities consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities in progress, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice " a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR). Should you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to discuss them with you.
