10 CFR 50.54(P) SUBMITTAL FOR HADDAM NECK PLANT

Dear Mr. Feigenbaum:

This letter acknowledges receipt of Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Company's (CYAPC0) letter dated February 23, 1996, which transmitted Revision 29 to the Physical Security Plan for the Haddam Neck Plant under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).

Based on CYAPC0's determination that the changes do not decrease the overall ,

effectiveness of your security plan and after limited review of the changes, i no NRC approval is required, in accordance with 50.54(p). Implementation of  !

these changes will be subject to inspection to_ confirm that the changes have not decreased the overall effectiveness of your security plan.

The enclosures to CYAPC0's letter contain. Safeguards Information of a type specified in 10 CFR 73.21 and will be withheld from public disclosure. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of' CYAPC0's letter, less enclosure (s), will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
