SUBJECT:
SUMMARY
OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING MEETING A meeting was held on October 2,1984 in Bethesda, Maryland with representatives of the applicant, Westinghouse and Stone and Webster. A list of meeting attendees is provided as Enclosure 1.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the overall status of the mechanical engineering open items, as previously discussed at the April 3-5, 1984 audit, and for the applicant to address the staff's concerns which were identified at the July 26, 1984 ASME Code Baseline Document Meeting. The meeting agenda is presented in Enclosure 2.
A total of eleven questions were discussed. By the conclusion of the discussions, three questions remained open, three were confirmatory and five were closed.
However, three of these five were closed pending minor applicant action as discussed at the meeting. The results are presented in Enclosure 3, and were confirmed by the applicant in a letter dated October 24, 1984.
