g NOTICE OF AGREEMENT AND PETITION TO POSTPONE INTERVENORS' RESPONSE TO APPLICANTS' MOTION FOR
SUMMARY
DISPOSITION By documents dated June 24, 1985 Applicants in the above styled proceeding moved for summary disposition of Intervenors' Contention 8 (Quality Assurance).
On July 9,1985, counsel for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff notified Intervenors that the staff desired additional time to respond to Applicants' motion and had so notified Applicants.
Intervenors stated that they would also like additional time to respond and would not object to the staff's request.
On July 9,1985, Intervenors informed counsel for the Applicants by telephone that Intervenors desired additional time to respond to Applicants' Motion for Summary Disposition of Joint Intervenors' Contention 8.
On July 11, 1985, counsel for tr.e Applicants informed Intervenors that the Applicants f ave no objection to l
allowing the Intervenors and the NRC staff until August 1,1985 to respond to the motion.
l Wherefore, Joint Intervenors hereby respectfully request a waiver of the twenty-day deadline for response to motions for summary disposition and be granted an extension until August 1,1985 to respond to Applicants' Motion for Summary Disposition of Intervenors' Contention 8.
