ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS ISSUED AGAINST HOUSTON LIGHTING & POWER COMPANY AND RAYTHEON ENGINEERS AND CONS 1RUCTION, INC.
Dear Mr. Slavin:
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with copies of the enforcement actions taken by the NRC against Houston Lighting & Power Company and Raytheon Engineers and Construction, Inc.
Chairman Jackson informed you in a June 25, 1996 letter, that following the pre-decisional enforcement conference, you would be notified of the action taken by NRC. As you know, the conference was held on July 19, 1996, in the NRC's Region IV office in Arlington, Texas.
Copies of the letter and Notice of Violation, dated September 19, 1996, to these subject companies are enclosed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
