Medical Services Information for the Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Station This is in partial response to your request of May 28, 1985, for medical serv-ices information on several nuclear power Near-Term Operating Licenses (NT0L).

For these NT0L's, you. requested that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) confirm that the offsite emergency plans include a list of local or regional medical facilities which have capabilities to provide treatment for radiation exposure.

Attached are extracts from the Wolf Creek offsite preparedness plans which provide the confirmation which you requested on lists of medical facilities.

These sections also provide information on ambulance company resources. The black marks under the names of the medical facilities are telephone numbers which were covered up in the plan. Also, as you know, medical services questions were discussed during the Wolf Creek Atomic Safety and Licensing Board hearing.

If you have any questions about this material, or if we can be of any further assistance, please feel free.to contact me. Information on the other sites mentioned in your May 28, 1985, memorandum will be supplied according to a schedule-coordinated by our staffs, as you suggested.

3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF FACILITIES Tab L. Tables L-1, L-2 and L-3. provides specific information on the ambulance services and medical facilities within and adjacent to the plume exposure IFZs within the State of Kansas. Facilities which will i

have ths capability to treat contaminated patients are noted in the

Should a particular injury prove very serious or if it is deemed neces-sary, a patient may be transported to the University of Kansas Medical Center (EUNC). While this facility is not immediately adjacent to the Rev. 0
