Dear Dr. Jackson:

Congratulations on your recent appointment as Chairperson. It is with renewed hope that I send you this message: Louisiana Energy Services (LES) is proposing a uranium enrichmerd plant that threatens the land, air and water quality of Forest Grove and Center Springs, Louisiana.

I believe that this facility is dangerous and totally unnecessary. Furthermore, the siting of this facility between two low income African-American communities is a clear example of environmental racism and sets a dangerous precedent for ,

other low income communities of color.

No community should be forcod to host this dangerous facility. I ask that you use your authority to prevent LES from ottaining a permit to build the Claibome  ;

Enrichment Center and ensure the en ronmental protection of local citizens. ]
