its response to Applicant's appeal from the Partial Initial Decision on emergency planning of April 17, 1985.
In support of this request, the Staff states as follows:
1.
Pursuant to scheduling orders issued by the Appeal Board, the Staff's brief in response to Applicant's appeal is currently due to be filed en or before July 15, 1985. The Applicant may request leave to reply to Intervenors' and Staff's briefs on or before July 23, 1985; and oral argument of Applicant's' appeal is scheduled to be held on August 12, 1985.
2.
The undersigned attorney has been assigned to prepare the Staff's brief in response to Applicant's appeal.
Due to medical prob-lems affecting a member of his family, the aforesaid attorney has been reouired to'be away from the office for approximately two weeks during the past month.
