On September 9-20,1996, the NRC completed an inspection at your Waterford Steam
Elsctric Station, Unit 3, facility. The enclosed report presents the scope and results of that
inspection.
The inspection included an evaluation of applicants for operating licenses and a review of
the licensed operator requalification program. Within these areas, the inspection consisted
of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and observation of activities in progress. The results of this inspection are
documented on pages 2 and 3 in the enclosed report.
