Dear Mr. Denton:
The ' referenced letter included, as Enclosure A, a revision-to the VEGP position on' Regulatory Guide 1.9.4.
As discussed with your staff on May 24, 1985 the following additions are to be made to " Insert 1.9.94.2" of the referenced-letter as presented below:

JInsert 1.9.94.2 paragraph number 1, add the following: "However, if VEGP elects to utilize a later revision of the. referenced standards-which do not conform to the' criteria of Regulatory Guide 1.94,'.VEGP will solicit the'NRC's' approval prior to implementing this revision."
