Dear Ms. Varricchio and Mr. Devine:

This is a final response to your letter dated September 14, 1984, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), copies of documents regarding:

1. The investigation conducted by Messrs. Griffin and Driskill of the NRC Office of Investigations, Region IV Field Office during the period December 1, 1982-February 18, 1983, of activities authorized by NRC Construction Permit CPPR 147 for the Wolf Creek Generating Station.
2. The May 25, 1984, memorandum from Mr. Dircks to Mr. Denton, et al, and documents relating to or generated from action taken since this memorandum.

In my previous partial response to your request dated December 11, 1984, we informed you that staff members were reviewing additional records. The review of the remaining records subject to your request has now been completed. The records subject to category 1 of your request have been reviewed for a previous F0IA request (F01A-84-291). ONf response to that request is maintained in the Public Document Room in folder F0IA-84-291 under the name of Brosius. You may obtain copies of these documents by referring to the above F0IA folder. For your convenience, we have enclosed a copy of our response to Ms. Brosius dated June 10, 1985.

This completes action on your request.

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), 5 U.S.C. !iS52, the Government Accountability Project (GAP) requests copies of any and all agency records and information, including but not limited to notes, inter-office memoranda, ; letters,umemoranda, drafts, minutes, diaries, logs, calendars, tapes, transcripts, summaries, interview reports, procedures, instructions, engineering analyses, drawings, files, graphs, maps, photographs, agreements, handwritten notes, studies, data sheets, notebooks, telephone messages, books, computations, voice recordings, computer run-ofts, representative records, interim and/or final reports, status reports, and any and all other records relevant to and/or generated in connection with the following areas:

i This memorandum is dated May 25, 1984. The subject of the memorandum is the actions for plants with near term licensing activity.

Specifically, we request the infonnation which provided a basis

! for this statement as pertaining to Wolf Creek Generating Station which is authorized by NRC Construction Permit CPPR 147.

This request also includes any and all documents relating to or generated from action taken since this memorandum.

governmental raccountability. GAP is currently working with citizens groups in the Kansas area concerning the Wolf Creek Nuclear Generating Plant.
