This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. R. L. Cilimberg of.this office on December.3-7 and 17-18, 1984, of your facilities at Columbia, South Carolina, and Monroeville, Pennsylvania, and to the discussions of our findings with Mr. R. Cost and Mr. H. Menke and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The purpose of this inspection was to observe the manufacturing and special process controls being used and to follow-up on open items from previous NRC inspections.
Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the enclosed report.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of an examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, we found no instance where you failed to meet NRC requirements.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the_ enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
