Dear Ms. Curran:
This is in response to your letter dated April 19, 1985, in which you requested,
pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (F0IA), all documents generated by
the NRC in preparing Inspection Report 50-317/84-27 of January 25, 1985, for the
Calvert Cliffs nuclear power plant.
This is also in response to your May 16,
1985, letter in which you appealed NRC's failure to respond to your initial
FOIA request.
The requested documents, which are listed on the enclosed appendix, are being
placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) for your inspection and copying.
They will be filed in PDR folder F01A-85-289.
During a May 22, 1985, telephone conversation with Mr. Stephen Isaacs of my
staff, you informed him that your office had not received a copy of the F0IA
acknowledgment letter.
A copy of our April 22, 1985, acknowledgment letter is
enclosed for your information.
This completes NRC's action on your request and appeal.
